Very grateful to Terry Glavin for doing the research on this one especially. The mindless MPs who piled on so eagerly are just so damn feckless. A real leader would issue a statement disassociating himself from these public remarks and admonish his caucus to be mindful in future of contributing to already-inflamed issues that have nothing to do with their ridings or mandates. For Joly, whose mandate includes knowledge of foreign affairs, it is especially damning, or should be. But hey, it only affects the Jooz, so what the hell...

Thanks Terry for bringing clarity to a much misrepresented subject. How does it even happen that our current government get this so wrong. It is willful negligence that must be brought to the attention of Canadians universally. Where is the official opposition to counter this ploy to deceive?

It's cool to rail against Israel these days. Many of these tweets reflect university politics and nothing more. Amateur hour with a side dish of confirming their anti-Jewish biases

Why do we need Trudeau when we have these dopes? We should be reminded that Israeli use of phosphorus bombs in Lebanon was not a hoax.

Ready, Fire, Aim! That's the Canadian politician's preferred methodology. Wave your arms, pretend you're doing "something", and hope (correctly) that most people aren't actually paying much attention. Tragic, just tragic.
