Terry. I’m a friend of John Bruk. He suggested I subscribe. It didn’t take much coaxing because I am a long time fan of your work. The Last Great Sea was a superb book which opened my eyes to environmental dependency and complexity. Good luck in this venture.
Terry, congratulations and good luck. I will recommend to all my family and friends to subscribe to your online news and commentary. And I look forward to your efforts energizing all concerned and patriotic Canadians to have our country regain its self respect, by our patriotic Canadians becoming actively involved in supporting for service only those Canadians who can restore all our institutions to once again serve Canada rather their own self interest, most importantly when it comes electing our politicians who must bear the greatest responsibility for failing Canada.
Mr. Glavin: Am I detecting a fondness for Robert Conquest's writings?
The Anglosphere is my clue of choice.
The Great Terror was written while battling many of the same burdens you point out here.
My feeble thought: If the fog keeps us from seeing the bloody iceberg, no wonder there are so many stories about how it really is just a mirage or the ferry dock.
Happy to support your new initiative as a paid subscriber. You're one of the most balanced and coherent writers out there, a rarity these days. I also appreciate your sense of proportion, and your grasp of history (again a rarity). Cheers, and may you realize much success with this new outlet for your work.

Thank you Michael. Glad you enjoyed Last Great Sea. I think that was my favorite book to write.
Your forthright take on things is one of my mainstays. Loved your books. Balance is beautiful. Happy to subscribe with real money!
Deeply appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks so much John. You're a prince.
Great initiative. Pursue the truth as difficult as that might be today. Luctor et emergo.
Will do my damnedest. Thank you.
Congrats and "Good-on-Ya Terry". I look forward to your candid appraisals.

Congratulations and best wishes for success.
Keep Calm, and Beat to Quarters
Outstanding, Terry! Happy to subscribe to this.
The Canadian content on Substack is weak to non-existent and it’s great to see one the best in the business make the plunge.
Keep on working at your wonderful craft, it sure packs a punch.

Good luck Terry. We do still need your voice on the outside, though.
What's wrong with "The Line"? Maybe they wouldn't let you publish twice a week.
