Michael Chan posted a four page list of questions and statements from Sam Cooper to Twitter, thinking it would support his howls of anti-asian racism. Dumb move.

My understanding, based on what Sam wrote, is CSIS believes Michael Chan is a paid agent of the PRC. He takes direction from and submits reports to the Chinese consulate in Toronto. He receives money from the PRC which he uses for his benefit and also distributes to other persons, politicians, candidates and groups. He was and continues to be a major fundraiser for the Ontario Liberal party and the Federal Liberal party, and due to his value as a fundraiser, his "team" wields substantial influence in the provincial and federal parties as a "kingmaker" including recommending candidates.

The most alarming part, though, is that CSIS has alerted Team Trudeau that Chan is a PRC agent and they don't care, because they like the PRC money.

We already know they're so compromised that they knowingly accept PRC agents sitting as MPs in their caucus, and more is better.

This isn't a partisan issue. It should be clear that all political parties are compromised; differing only by extent.

Simply voting the Liberals out of office (while a fantastic idea) won't fix the problems. The PRC is smart and they know Trudeau's best-by date is past. They played a long game with Trudeau. I'm sure they've also been working on several potential successors affiliated with the Liberal, Conservatives and NDP.

Meet the new boss. Same as the old boss.

I hope patriots like Terry Glavin, Bob Fife, Steven Chase, Sam Cooper and the anonymous heros in CSIS continue their excellent work, pushing this boulder up the mountain.

This is a real barn burner Terry. I had almost fallen for Rasputin Butts’ “Squirrel-Look-Away” gambit, but your course correction has great merit. Keep up this excellent analysis, it’s a major public service!

Why aren’t there CSIS and RCMP investigations into Trudeau and some of his cabinet? Those investigations would certainly overlap with Chinese money-laundering and other operations. Other countries - like the US and France - conduct corruption investigations on sitting government figures. I honestly don’t understand it.

Thank you Terry for all this information. I am curious if CSIS itself has now become compromised due to the Trudeau Privy Council Advisor being promoted to be the head of CSIS in 2017. I noticed how he capitulated on the report to the Emergency Act Commisssion to stand behind the Liberal elite on the secret reason for the enacting of the Emergencies Act, even after reporting there was no threat to the Security of Canada. In fact their is a threat to the Security of the country from Trudeau, his government, and any affiliated with it. https://www.thestar.com/news/canada/2017/05/11/trudeau-picks-cabinet-advisor-to-become-new-head-of-csis.html

Ironically speaking to redditors about this they blame CSIS as being "right wing" known for an anti-asian bias.

Which I myself being of Chinese origin (believe what you want to believe), find that Han Dong is infact compromised just on his voting record alone. https://torontosun.com/news/national/han-dongs-voting-record-on-china-is-deserving-of-more-questions-not-claims-of-racism

Here's me, THREE WEEKS ago, before this blew up.

Last week’s vote was unanimous, but Liberal MPs Han Dong and Shaun Chen were joined by New Democrats Don Davies and Niki Ashton in ducking the vote. All four are on friendly terms with Chinese diplomats. Similarly, Dong, Chen, Davies and Ashton joined with the Trudeau cabinet in absenting themselves from the 2021 Uyghur genocide motion.

In 2020, Ashton, Davies and fellow New Democrat Leah Gazan broke ranks and abstained from an Opposition motion calling on the government to follow the lead of Canada’s Five Eyes intelligence-sharing partners and block Huawei Technologies from participation in Canada’s 5G internet connectivity rollout. The motion also slammed the government for failing to treat Beijing’s influence operations in Canada as a key threat to national security.

I cried when he got in the first time but cried a lot harder in 2021 (after waking up)... Most don’t even know the basics of what is going on here, never mind the deep dive. By design, of course.

I will definitely share... this has to end.

Thanks so much 🙏

The "Genocide Denier" has moved onto "Anti-Asian Racist". The irony just too much to take. Please keep your guard up Terry. Thanks for your work.

I look forward to the day when this version of the Liberal party comes to its sorry end. No ifs, ands, Butts or Telfords about it.

Thank you for what you're doing, Terry. Watch your back.

Butts and Telford bankrupted Ontario with the disastrous Green Energy Act, leaving the province with the highest subnational debt in the world. Now they have scaled up to bankrupting all of Canada with more of their idiotic green energy policies. How do these unelected Liberal insiders get so much power to destroy provinces and whole countries?

Because they control the PMO.

Thanks for your hard work Terry...when you put the pieces together it becomes understandable to those who are politically unsavvy like myself.

Lord help us, it seems the fox is in the henhouse.

This also casts a whole bunch of apparently-unrelated domestic policy decision Trudeau has attempted during his tenure into a new light.

Excellent reporting Terry, and well worth the wait. Also extremely disturbing to think that Trudeau could get away with this, as he has in the past. Watch your back.

Concur with “fox in henhouse” comparison. This is not a good situation. Not at all.

Terry, you say, "I’m afraid I’m not going to make many friends in high places...."

Don't worry whatsoever about "friends in high places" as you have ever so many of us in low places who consider you our terrific friend. As for those in "high places," well, all I can offer them is profanity given what they have done and continue to do to our country. I offer profanity to them but I will not state such here, simply as you and other readers are, of course, of of delicate sensibility.

I am distressed, but not at all surprised, by your assertion that the CCP influence extends to the Conservatives and the NDP. Distressed, not surprised. Or, as you say, "sorry not sorry."

My problem with all of this "scandalous" news is that far, far too few people here in Canada are aware of these scandals and even fewer think of them in a coherent fashion; so often any thought of these scandals is that they are simply another piece of misbehavior unrelated to the last piece of misbehavior and, boy, that JT has nice hair and teeth! In other words, far, far too many Canadians don't think and have thereby drank the Kool-Aid of the LPC.

Very distressing and, truly, I am not really sure what can be done except what you are doing, Terry: disclose the truth and yell like hell. In that context, I note that The Line today has also published a column on this topic. Not nearly as extensively researched as your column but well done (as near as I can tell, anyway) in any event.

As always, Sir Terry, terrific work.

Oh my goodness. Davies, Ashton, and Gazan are the ones who made those awful comments about Ukraine, aligning themselves with the so-called "anti-war left", after Russia launched the full scale invasion.

I would really like to know what in the blazes is going on with the NDP.

I took a long time to clue into this. It's amazing how much of this stuff has been hiding in plain sight. Wealthone and the $1 million to the Trudeau foundation were mentioned together from the beginning of the Trudeau government. I agree one needs to be careful about stoking anti-Chinese bias, but the best way to do that is to neuter the influence campaign. When there is no investigation everyone's a suspect.

And here I was worried about the WEF's influence. It's the same end goal. ESG, stakeholder capitalism, capitalism with Chinese characteristics. These are different names for the same thing: the subordination of corporate power to state interests. They had a different name for it back in the 1930's, but that word carries to much intellectual baggage these days.

To quote a certain Italian: "All within the state, nothing outside the state, nothing against the state."

In truth, I had no idea this was going on. I agree that a public inquiry is not the answer. Both Butts and Jagmeet support it. It will go on forever and generate a state of " I cannot answer as it is under investigation" Delay deny, delay and by the way you are a racist for even suggesting that anything like this occurred.

Our current PM is unlike any that came before bar one maybe. Canada has dramatically changed for the worst. It may be very difficult to turn around this scandalocracy into a healthy democracy

I try to picture Tommy Douglas in a $10,000 bespoke suit wearing a fancy Rolex watch driving a top end BMW, and.... it just doesn't work for me. The NDP is nothing close to what it once was, and their current leader is just another ridiculous egotistical Trudeau clone. Very odd state of affairs when the Conservatives are now the party of the working class.
